How often are Cyprus fuel prices updated?

CyFuel scrapes the official Cyprus Government Fuel Price Observatory (Παρατηρητήριο Τιμών Καυσίμων) once a day, early in the morning Cyprus time. Stations report their prices to the Observatory daily, so a daily snapshot keeps pace with the source. The "Last updated" timestamp on every page tells you exactly when the latest snapshot was taken.

Which fuel types does CyFuel track in Cyprus?

All five fuel types tracked by the Cyprus Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry: Unleaded 95 (αμόλυβδη 95), Unleaded 98 (αμόλυβδη 98), Diesel (πετρέλαιο κίνησης), Heating Oil (πετρέλαιο θέρμανσης) and Kerosene (κηροζίνη).

What is the Cyprus Fuel Price Observatory?

The Παρατηρητήριο Τιμών Καυσίμων is the official price monitoring service run by the Cyprus Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry. Petrol stations are required to report their pump prices to it, and the Observatory publishes them publicly. CyFuel is an independent, free interface that presents the Observatory data in a faster, mobile friendly UI. We are not affiliated with the government.

Does CyFuel work offline?

Yes. CyFuel is a Progressive Web App. After your first visit, the interface and the most recently viewed prices are cached locally so you can browse them with no signal.
