1. Overview

CyFuel ("the app", "we", "us") is a free, independent web application that displays real-time fuel prices from the Cyprus Government Fuel Price Observatory. CyFuel is operated by ludehq.com.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information, if any, we collect when you use CyFuel and how it is used.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII). Specifically:

  • We do not require you to create an account.
  • We do not collect your name, email address, or phone number.
  • We do not store your location data. Location features (if used) are processed entirely in your browser and never sent to our servers.
  • We do not use tracking cookies.

3. Anonymous Analytics

We may collect anonymised, aggregated analytics data (e.g. page views, country, device type) via privacy-respecting tools. This data cannot be used to identify you individually. You can block analytics by using a browser ad-blocker or privacy extension.

4. Data Source

All fuel price data displayed in CyFuel is fetched in real time from the Cyprus Government's Fuel Price Observatory (Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry). CyFuel does not store historical price records.

5. Service Worker & Caching

CyFuel registers a browser Service Worker to enable offline use and faster loading (Progressive Web App). The service worker caches static assets (HTML, CSS, JS) on your device only. No personal data is stored in the cache.

6. Third-Party Services

CyFuel uses the following third parties:

  • Google Maps – Optional map links open Google Maps in a new tab. Google's own privacy policy applies.
  • Vercel – Hosting provider. Vercel may log standard web server data (IP, request path, timestamp) per their Privacy Policy.

7. Cookies

CyFuel does not set any first-party cookies. Third-party services listed above may set their own cookies subject to their policies.

8. Children's Privacy

CyFuel is not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest revision.
